Kitten Heel Pump with Strap

So someone I knew was looking for the shoe that this lovely young woman is wearing.  I found a similar one here: http://bit.ly/1DaeDob

You still haven't found what you're looking for?

After a little hiatus, I am back!  Please let me know if you are searching for something that you haven't been able to find online.  I love the challenge and I'd love to help you find it.

I had this great idea for an iPhone app and I tried to get some programmer friends or aquaintances interested in throwing it together for me.  I expected it to be a very, very straightforward and simple programming exercise, but I couldn't convince anyone to take on the project.  I decided to do it myself.  So I had to find an iPhone application toolkit to use.  The first one I came across was called Seattle Clouds, but it wasn't exactly right for me.  However, it was close.  So I used the name of that product in my search to see what other products were similar.  I used this search:

"iphone apps" application builders "seattle clouds"

and in the results, there was an article reviewing 25 iPhone application toolkits.  I found the one that works perfectly for me:  MobiOne.

Aurora Borealis

There's one thing that has been on my bucket list for a long time and that is going to see the Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights.  I am heading out this weekend for Fairbanks to see what I can see.  I was wondering if there was such a thing as a "forecast" for the Northern Lights, so I did a search:

"northern lights" forecast 2012

The best result was the second one from the Geophysical Institute.

Even though this year is a good year to see the Northern Lights, next week is not looking too good.  Oh well.  We'll see.

How to share your blackberry's data service with your iPad 2

My son was using his iPhone as a hotspot for his Mac Book and the idea came to me that I could use my blackberry as a hotspot for my iPad 2.  So I did some research.

i typed into Google's Search box:

use blackberry as hotspot for ipad 2

That returned many results, the first of which was:

http://www.blackberryforums.com/general-9700-series-discussion-bold-2/251453-share-bb-internet-ipad-2-a.html

I clicked on that and learned that in the crackberry forums there are further instructions.

So I went back to Google Search and typed:

site:crackberry.com "tether blackberry to ipad"

I clicked on this link: http://forums.crackberry.com/wifi-discussion-help-f65/finally-tether-blackberry-ipad-via-bluetooth-ipad-wifi-ftw-475732/

I found everything I needed there!

Finding an old flame

I was having lunch with a couple of girlfriends yesterday and we started talking about old boyfriends.  One of my friends said she wanted to see what an old boyfriend looked like, but she searched online and couldn't find a picture of him.  I said I could find it for her!  I don't want to give out names, but here is the process I used:

I took his full name including his middle initial (which she gave me) and entered it into Google Search.  A website called SpokeO.com returned a number of matches along with photos.  So I dug deeper there and found out where he lived.  I then used his name and his location to begin another search.  I was getting a number of text results, but no photos.  I tried using his name and his profession to search.  Again, only text results appeared.  So I tried a different search engine - Yahoo.  I used his name and location and the first result was a wedding announcement.  I recalled that his wife's name appeared in the spokeo search result, so I went back to see if that was the same one.  It was.  Then I went back to Google and typed in their names together.  The first result included a photo of the couple together at an event.  Voila!

My wire whip broke

There I was trying to whip up a meringue shell only to discover that my Kitchenaid Stand Mixer's Wire Whip is broken.  What's a girl to do?  I guess go online and try to find a replacement.

Here is the search I did at Google Shopping:

"kitchenaid mixer" "wire whip" replacement

And I found a replacement for $7.10 at thepartsbiz.com:
